When Jeremy breaks a date with Candace, she assumes it's because he is doesn't like her. To cheer her up, Phineas and Ferb give her a makeover, plan a comedy show and introduce her to new people. Ultimately, their efforts lead her to the real reason why Jeremy canceled the date. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz has used his Perry doppelgangers to get Perry thrown out of the agency./ Candace decides it's time to join the Fireside Girls when she learns that the Paisley Sideburn Brothers are slated to play a concert at the Fireside Girls Jamboree. To become a member before the concert begins, Candace must earn 50 patches, so she enlists Phineas and Ferb to help her complete all of the challenges within the day. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz blames his extra weight gain on the Fireside Girl cupcakes so he plots to destroy the bridge leading to their cupcake factory by turning it into broccoli.

Back at home, Candace decides to take advantage of the boys being gone and attempts to make a fancy dinner for Jeremy, but her lack of cooking skills don't add anything to the plate. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz attempts to use his 'Moisture Suck-inator ' to turn his neighbor's plants brown, so that his plants will be greener by comparison.
